Alex,
Let me make sure I understand what you would like me to do.
1) Open "sample.mny" found in my Money folder.
2) With "sample.mny" open, choose File -> New -> New File.
3) Save the new file as "test.mny" or something similar.
4) At the setup screen for "test.mny," choose "I want to use a Windows Live ID."
5) Select "I already have a windows Live ID (e-mail address and password)."
6) Enter "BY@live.com" and my password.
7) Once my "test.mny" file is set up, attempt to add my Capital One credit card account and the Woodgrove Direct 1.02 account.
At step 2, did you want me to choose File -> New -> New File to create a brand new Money file (i.e. "test.mny")? Or did you want me to choose File -> New -> New Account to try to add my Capital One and WoodGrove account to the sample.mny file?
Please let me know, and I will go ahead.

just to let you know, I'm going to be following this site as I have a very similar issue.
My differences. I have a money market savings account with Capital One Online Banking services. Up until recently, I have had two seperate logins for the Online Banking and the Credit Card services. About 1 month ago I was able to "link" the accounts in Capital One's Online Banking web interface. Now when I log into Capital One Online Bankings, I see a summary sheet with my credit card balance and my money market balance.
I went to add this account to MS Money Deluxe and when I selected Capital One Bank and input my username and password that had been enrolled, MS Money automatically pulled down my money market information, but never pulled down any credit card information. I do think Capital One is trying to merge their systems (online banking and credit cards) but in the meantime, I think you are right in assuming that MS Money is not treating them as seperate services as they are right now.
